The word "lifetime" gets misused a lot in software. Here is exactly what we mean, what you're protected against, and where the limits are.
"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the product — not a fixed number of years. As long as Foldif is running, your plan is active. You will never be asked to pay again to keep access to features you purchased.
Features we build after your purchase are included in your lifetime plan at no extra charge. We will not put new features behind a separate upgrade tier for lifetime customers.
The price you pay today is your final price. We will never introduce a "Lifetime 2.0" requiring existing lifetime customers to pay again. No surprise migrations, no plan sunsets.
If you buy a lifetime plan and change your mind within 14 days, we will refund you in full — no hoops, no "tell us why", no partial refunds. Full refund processed within 24 hours of your request.
We are building for the long term. But if we ever have to close Foldif, we commit to giving at least 90 days advance notice — and offering lifetime customers a pro-rated refund based on time remaining. This is a voluntary commitment, above and beyond any legal obligation. Important: this refund commitment applies only to purchases made within the 12 months preceding a shutdown. Purchases older than 12 months are not eligible for a refund upon closure.
